Synopsis

In 2018, the environmental movement saw the emergence of a new collective committed to direct action and civil disobedience. The film shows the origins of Extinction Rebellion for the first time. The unprecedented access to the core group portrays the initial euphoria, the moral dilemmas and the increasing conflicts in making consensual decisions as the movement grows. Internal tension converges with police and political pressure to destabilize the collective. An intense thriller about the origins of the collective, the battle of egos, the ideals and the generational clash. Inspiring, dramatic and fast-paced.
