Life gives us stories that are close to us, familiar, intimate, in the first person… stories that we live with. This workshop offers the necessary knowledge to learn to construct and tell these stories through a documentary, so that participants can turn an idea into the best possible documentary.

CONTENT

The workshop will put across the key elements to prepare a good documentary story: starting point, story treatment, theme, characters, and style.

During the workshops participants will draw up a document with the key points to prepare the documentary. The workshop involves the work of developing a story, but not the filming part.

It is advisable that participants have a story they want to tell so they can work on it during the workshop.
