The DocsBarcelona International Documentary Film Festival, a point of convergence in Barcelona for debate, entertainment, screenings of today’s finest and most diverse documentaries and talks with the creators of those films, will be held 2-7 February 2010.

This year, the festival will be featuring two new sections, in addition to its Panorama, Le Dernier Repas, Historia, 12-16, Catalan Day and Xtra. Thus, D’Amèrica brings documentaries from different Latin American countries to Barcelona’s audiences, whilst the 7-11 section aims to open up the world of the documentary film to younger children. With a total of 8 different sections, the festival programmes are selected by expert guests who guarantee an interesting range of international titles and master classes that offer privileged insight to the situation of the documentary genre.
