In its 14th year running, DocsBarcelona is now launching the DOCSBARCELONA AWARDS, becoming a competitive festival that rewards and promotes recent documentary productions.

DOCSBARCELONA AWARD TO THE BEST DOCUMENTARY FILM, with a cash prize of €6000 and a statuette
FOREIGN PARTS by Verena Paravel and John Paul Sniadecki
TV3 AWARD FOR HUMAN RIGHTS, with a cash prize of €4500 and a statuette
ENEMIES OF THE PEOPLE, by Rob Lemkin and Thet Sambath
TV3 NEW FILMMAKER’S AWARD, with a cash prize of €2000 and a statuette
TODOS VÓS SODES CAPITÁNS, by Oliver Laxe
TEENS & DOCS AWARD, with a cash prize of €1500 and a statuette
EL EDIFICIO DE LOS CHILENOS, by Macarena Aguiló
KIDS & DOCS AWARD, with a cash prize of €1000 and a statuette
L’ÚLTIM VESTIT DE LA JÚLIA, by Xavier Artigas and Diethield Meier.
AUDIENCE AWARD, consisting of a statuette
EL AMBULANTE, by Eduardo de la Serna, Lucas Marcheggiano and Adriana Yurcovich
The Jury also offers the SPECIAL JURY PRIZE, which may be given to the film that the members of the Jury feel worthy of this honourable mention, for its characteristics.
