The sections for adolescent and young viewers. A new means of travel and a new prism to discover realities all around the planet that are nevertheless close to them, through an otherwise seemingly distant genre.
Each year, students from different schools around Barcelona and its surrounding towns fill the city’s theatres at matinee show times. The result is an entertaining, educational and interactive experience, where the students moreover have the opportunity to meet the directors and discuss their films.
The venue of the morning screenings is the Auditorium of La Pedrera CatalunyaCaixa.
Programmer: Joan Gonzàlez, the Director of DocsBarcelona and the Director of the production company Parallel40.
*The 7-11 and 12-16 sessions are exclusively for educational centres. If your school wishes to participate in this activity, please contact us at escoles@docsbarcelona.com / Tel. 93 452 46 18.
