Opening and Closing Ceremonies

Each year, the festival kicks off on a Wednesday with a session for viewers, institutions, professionals and guests, presenting the line-up for the upcoming days and offering a screening of a specially selected documentary film.

The Opening Ceremony will also serve as the backdrop for this year’s presentation of Televisió de Catalunya’s annual TV3 Awards.

The screening of another documentary, in this case a musical, will also be the central focus of the Closing Ceremony for the 13th celebration of DocsBarcelona, on Sunday evening, 7 February.
