The Magic of a Great Project & Pitch Workshop

DOCSBARCELONA/DocsBarcelona 2017/Industry/Training/The Magic of a Great Project & Pitch Workshop

Addressed to all filmmakers and producers with a project selected for the Speed Meetings and the Latin Pitch.

How to pitch your project to the international marketplace?

The aim of the workshop is to help you fine tune your documentary project, work on your trailer and improve your pitching and presentation skills so you have the best opportunity for a successful meeting with broadcasters and funders, and improve your chances of financing your documentary.

The workshop is organized in two parts: one previous to the festival where projects will get specific assessment on their trailers through a personal online skype session; and a second one, two days face to face work during the festival with the rest of the projects and the international tutors.

The participants will get professional feedback on their project and pitch to help them focus and effectively present the story they want the film to tell.

These are skills that will help filmmakers and producers not only during the Speed Meetings and the Latin Pitch, but also in other situations where they have an opportunity to meet with broadcasters and funders to pitch their projects both at Docs Barcelona and elsewhere.
