Valérie Delpierre

President of PRO-DOCS, the association of documentary producers of Catalonia. She is the founder of the production company Films Start. Her latest production Summer 1993 has won the award for best debut and the Grand Prix of the Generation Kplus section.

Director of the television program Sense ficció and 60 Minuts. As a reporter, Joan Salvat has worked in more than 20 countries. He is a graduate in Information Sciences and has specialized in documentary production of general interest.

Gemma Sendra

First vice president of the National Council for Culture and the Arts (CoNCA) and director of the Fundació Catalunya Cultura. She has been the manager of the Gran Teatre del Liceu and the MACBA, and from 2004 to 2006 she was the Secretary-General of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Rada Šešiċ

Director of cinema, programmer, critic and teacher. Programmer of two prestigious festivals such as IFFR Rotterdam and IDFA. She has been a film teacher for seven years at the University of Amsterdam. She is the programming director of the Sarajevo Film Festival and co-director of the Docu Rough Cut Boutique platform.

Mercedes Álvarez

Film director. In 2005 she debuts with El cielo gira with great success around the world, winning the Rotterdam Tiger Award and the FIPRESCI Jury Award at BAFICI, among many others. In 2011 she made her second film, Mercado de futuros, and wins the New Visions at the Visions du Réel festival. In 2013 she participates in the pavilion of Cataluña for the Venice Biennale with the artist Francesc Torres.

Jorge Caballero

Producer and director of GusanoFilms, he has directed the films Bagatela, Nacer and Paciente, awarded in Cartagena, Málaga, Tribeca Film Institute and DocsBarcelona among many others. He has won twice the National Documentary Award of Colombia.

Juanjo Giménez

Film director and co-founder of the production company Nadir Films. In 2016 he won the Palme d’Or at Cannes for Best Short Film with Timecode. He has also been nominated for the Oscars 2017 for Best Short Film. He directed the documentary Contact Proof (2014).

Aurora Moreno

Head of International Promotion of the Film Archive of Catalonia. She was a correspondent for the newspapers Avui and El Periódico de Catalunya. She was the director of MEDIA Antena Catalonia and the director of Promotion and Dissemination of the Audiovisual Area of the Catalan Institute of Cultural Industries.

Isaki Lacuesta

Director and writter of eight feature films. His last film, The next skin, won the Gaudí awards 2017 for best picture. He is currently working on his new feature film Entre dos aguas and the documentary Suena una llamada.

Sabina Puig

Currently working at the International Catalan Institute for Peace. She is a member of the Executive Comitee of International Amnisty in Catalonia as the International responsible. She has also been a member of the High Comission of the ONU for Human Rights, International Amnisty, Justice and Peace and International Penal Court.

Institutional relations for International Amnisty in Catalonia, he has worked in Entreculturas ONGD, Observatoire de l’Action Gouvernmental (Burundi) and Instituto Hegoa.

Xavier Artigas

Sociologist and founder of the cooperative film production company Metromuster. He’s an activist specialized in institutional racism and migratory control, and some of his films are No-res (2011), Ciutat morta (2013),  Tarajal (2015) and Idrissa (2018).

Journalist, producer and professor. She has been the producer of DocsBarcelona+Medellín and the producer of many other festivals. She is the executive producer of many television documentaries and she also teaches courses and workshops for developing projects.


Tània Balló

Producer and film director of numerous films, such as Entre el dictador i jo and Infància clandestina, presented at various international festivals. Her next work as a producer is the documentary Oleg i les rares arts.
