Juan Diego Flórez, one of the great talents of the current opera scene, was able to study singing thanks to the generosity of dozens of donors. With him as the driving force behind the project Sinfonía por el Perú, which promotes musical training in schools in a country marked by inequalities and lack of opportunities, the fate of three Peruvian youths at risk of social exclusion changes radically when music and the tenor enter their lives.
We follow Alondra, Diego, and Imanol for 3 years in the discovery of their musical talent. Through their experiences we witness the transformative power of music. Sinfonía por el Perú helps the three boys believe in themselves and dream of a better future for themselves and those around them.
