This is the first of more than forty films that will show the most poignant stories that shake the world. Falciani’s list, the man behind the Swiss Leaks
The premiere of this coproduction between Germany and Spain arrives in the middle of the controversy about private banking and tax evasion, brought to light by the data theft from HSBC by banker Hervé Falciani. 130.000 protected accounts of citizens from more than 180 countries were delivered to the corresponding governments. This leak completely changed the rules of the game. Direct access to Hervé Falciani, interviews with key players across Europe and America and playful animation chart the complete story of a banking scandal on a scale never seen before.
Ben Lewis’ filmography is recognized because of his questioning of reality. He has won several awards and has collaborated with the BBC, Channel 4, Evening Standard and The Times.
